Cancellation & Disputes

1. ORDO's Role

ORDO is an introduction platform that connects clients with independent DJs. We do not process payments, hold funds, or act as a party to any booking agreement. All financial arrangements are made directly between the client and the DJ.

2. Cancellations

Since all bookings and payments are arranged directly between clients and DJs, cancellation terms are a matter between the two parties. ORDO strongly recommends that both parties agree on cancellation terms and any deposit arrangements before confirming a booking through the platform messaging system.

3. Refunds

As ORDO does not process or receive any payments, we cannot issue refunds. Any refund requests must be directed to the DJ you booked. We recommend discussing refund terms with your DJ before making any payment.

4. Disputes

If a dispute arises between a client and a DJ, ORDO can assist by:

  • Providing access to the booking thread and message history
  • Facilitating communication between both parties
  • Reviewing the situation and, if appropriate, suspending accounts that violate our Terms

However, ORDO is not a mediator or arbitrator and bears no financial liability for disputes between clients and DJs.

5. DJ No-Shows

If a DJ fails to appear at a confirmed event without prior notice, please contact us at hello.ordo.project@gmail.com within 48 hours. We will review the situation and may suspend the DJ from the platform. Any financial recovery is a matter between you and the DJ directly.

6. Protecting Yourself

We recommend the following best practices:

  • Agree on a price, cancellation terms, and payment method through the ORDO booking thread before paying
  • Consider paying a deposit rather than the full amount upfront
  • Keep all communication within the ORDO platform for your records
  • Confirm the DJ has the right equipment for your venue
