1. Introduction

Welcome to ORDO (ordo.events), a DJ booking platform. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. ORDO operates under the laws of England and Wales.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" — ordo.events and all associated services.
• "Customer" — any person who uses the Platform to book a DJ.
• "DJ" — any individual who registers to offer their services.
• "Booking" — a confirmed agreement between a Customer and DJ via the Platform.
• "Service Fee" — the 15% commission retained by ORDO from the DJ's booking fee.

3. Use of the Platform

You must be at least 18 years of age to use ORDO. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or making a booking. ORDO reserves the right to suspend accounts that provide false information.

4. Bookings and Payments

A booking is confirmed once payment is processed via Stripe. ORDO retains a 15% service fee — the DJ receives 85%. Customers pay the DJ's quoted fee with no additional charges at checkout. All prices are in GBP (£).

5. Cancellations

Cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. ORDO may cancel bookings in cases of fraud or force majeure, in which case a full refund is issued.

6. DJ Responsibilities

DJs are independent contractors, not employees of ORDO. DJs are responsible for their services, equipment, and tax obligations. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate event details and ensure DJs have safe access to the venue. Changes must be communicated through the ORDO Platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All ORDO Platform content is the intellectual property of ORDO. DJs grant ORDO a non-exclusive licence to display their profile content for promotional purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

ORDO acts as an intermediary only and accepts no liability for the quality or safety of DJ services. ORDO's total liability shall not exceed the value of the relevant booking fee.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
